Being Responsible for the Society
AIESEC believes in creating a Positive Impact on the Society and one of the ways we achieve it is through our Development Sector. Development Traineeships are projects AIESEC organizes in association with many NGO's and other social organizations to address many of the important issues of the society like HIV/AIDS, Women Empowerment, Child Rights, etc.
Not only this we also have interns who come down to teach various Languages, Music and Dance to kids or for spreading knowledge to the underprivileged.
As a part of our Development Traineeship Program we call enthusiastic young people from other countries who are passionate about bringing about a Social Change in our Society. These interns work with NGOs to create new projects for the development of the Society, help in fund raising and also go and deliver talks to students and others. Through this we also give these interns an opportunity to look into the current scenario in India and also a chance to become a part of the change.
